How to book an appointment at the Victorian Heart Hospital

To secure an appointment, you will need a referral from your general practitioner (GP).

Ensure your GP uses the HealthLink referral system to provide the necessary information to our specialist teams.

If you already have a booking and need assistance, call us on 03 7511 1222. This phone line is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

When you arrive

Check-in process for cardiac clinics (outpatients)

Check-in kiosks are available on the Ground Floor and Level 1.

  • Swipe your Medicare card, scan your appointment letter, or enter your details manually.
  • When called, proceed to your appointment location using the central elevators opposite the café or wayfinding signage.

Check-in process for admission (inpatients)

Procedural and surgical admissions are on Level 4.

  • Using the central elevators opposite the café, proceed to Level 4 and follow the signs to Immediate Recovery Centre.
  • Present to the admissions desk, where we will take you through the admission process.

Patient Portal

Patients of the Victorian Heart Hospital can register and securely access their medical information, manage clinic appointments, and stay informed about their healthcare using our Patient Portal.
